Jon West got hooked on selling Christmas trees with his 4-H club when he was in junior high school. He planted his first Christmas tree in 1971 as a high school FFA Project His first harvest was 1978, the year he got married. The trees were on his father’s property and the two spent the next 25 years operating a five acre u-cut lot. As Jon’s children grew, there were three generations working together.

In 2002, Jon purchased an additional 85 acres where he grows 90,000 Christmas trees. His two children continue to work on the farm.

In 2008, they began to harvest these trees. They opened a lot in front of Joe’s in Albany and supplied the Gleaners in Lebanon with trees. Until 2020, they had a lot in the parking lot at Grocery Outlet, across from Heritage Mall, in Albany. They have helped many non-profits over the years, both locally and nationally.

Today, the tree farm is open for choose and cut, with some pre-cut trees available. Wreaths, garland, mistletoe and stands are also available.
